Lorna Knight

Lorna started sewing at an early age and it’s no surprise she’s made a successful career of it.  In her studio, in the Staffordshire Moorlands, she teaches specialist workshops in couture dressmaking, lingerie and overlocking alongside selling haberdashery, gadgets and machines. But it’s not just through workshops that Lorna spreads her love of sewing; she has written a number of sewing reference books including ‘Dressmaking Technique Bible’; she filmed a Craftsy class (‘The Iconic Tweed Jacket’), taught at the V&A and regularly writes magazine articles. She is presently the Sewing Detective for Make it Today, Dressmaking magazine.
