The Great British Sewing Bee comes alive for an exclusive hour in the company of Sewing Bee judges, Patrick Grant and Esme Young and some of your favourite contestants from past series.

Patrick and Esme will be on stage to share their unique perspectives on dressmaking and open the fashion archives to show you their most precious pieces.

Patrick will share his tips on cut and fit to flatter the figure along with some of his favourite creations while Esme will impart her expert knowledge of pattern cutting and fabric handling. Together they will recreate the atmosphere of The Sewing Room and the audience will be able to experience the thrills, the tension and the excitement of the show.

In addition to an audience Q&A, volunteers from the audience will have the chance to take part in a surprise challenge – more details to be revealed soon.

Performances take place at 11.00 and 14.00 each day.

We are thrilled to welcome comedian, writer and TV personality Jenny Éclair who will be hosting our Super Theatre sessions at The Great British Sewing Bee Live.
Jenny was the guest host of TV’s first ever Sewing Bee Celebrity Special in 2014 in aid of BBC Children In Need.  Jenny will be our special guest host during the two live shows a day featuring Sewing Bee judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young.
Jenny says “I don’t have space for a sewing machine,” she says, “but I’m in awe of people who can do things like make curtains.  When I was at school, I bailed out after making an apron which took an entire term.”
