The Great British Sewing Bee Live Super Theatre

In association with Sew.co.uk
The Great British Sewing Bee comes alive for an exclusive hour in the company of Sewing Bee judges, Patrick Grant and Esme Young and some of your favourite contestants from past series.

With performances taking place at 11.00 and 14.00 each day, it’s a real chance to get your GBSB fix for 2017.

Patrick and Esme will be on stage to share their unique perspectives on dressmaking and open the fashion archives to show you their most precious pieces.

Patrick will share his tips on cut and fit to flatter the figure along with some of his favourite creations while Esme will impart her expert knowledge of pattern cutting and fabric handling. Together they will recreate the atmosphere of The Sewing Room and the audience will be able to experience the thrills, the tension and the excitement of the show.

In addition to an audience Q&A, the Theatre will see members of the audience and former contestants from the TV series come together in teams to undertake a series of alteration challenges, pitting their sewing skills against each other in a bid to be crowned GBSB Live’s best stitcher.

Comedian, writer and TV personality Jenny Éclair will bring the sewing room to life as she plays host. A keen stitcher herself, Jenny was the guest host of TV’s first ever Sewing Bee Celebrity Special in 2014 in aid of BBC Children in Need when she oversaw the efforts of Dave Myers, Edith Bowman, Dr Dawn Harper and round winner Wendi Peters.
